Athame licked Maglor's hand when he pet the pup, then nosed it forward. For half a moment it seemed she might try to pick it up by the scruff, but thought better of it. She could try, though her pup had grown large enough that that really wasn't an effective option any longer.

Javik didn't pay much attention to them, instead finding a dying fire. Tossing a few more logs on, he stoked it back to life, as the varren circled around and laid down nearby.

"There a few hunters among them, but likely not enough. The varren can flush small game. Any assistance you could provide would be welcome."
